Zbigniew Jastrzebski

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Zbignew (Zibby) a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, and cherished friend.

Zibby leaves behind his loving wife of 36 years Janina and their children Darek (Keana), Marek (Jessie), and Kat. He is predeceased by his son Damian. Zibby was the greatest

Dziadek (grandpa) to Damon, Mia, Ozzy, and Luka.

Zibby will be missed by his sister Mariola {Krzysiek) of Poland and his brother Grzegorz (Tarra) of Niagara Falls. His sister-in-law Basia (Frank), of Niagara Falls, Maria, Irana (Jacek) and by

his brother-in-laws Janek, Staszek, and Krzysiek all of Poland.

Zibby was born and raised in Poland. During his time there he served 2 years in the Polish army where he was trained to find land mines. It is also during this time that he met and would marry his beautiful wife Janina. After they began their family they made the decision to move to Canada. Zibby was always devoted to his family and was a proud member of the Polish community. Zibby was always willing to help out where he could.

Zibby is predeceased by his parents Agneiska Jakubiec and Hendryk Jastrzebski also by his mother-in-law Helena and father-in-law Bronislaw Kolcz.

Zibby will be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends both here and back in Poland.

God speed and may you rest in peace Zibby. You will be forever in our hearts and missed beyond measure.

A visitation will occur from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 5176 Victoria Ave, Niagara Falls, ON L2E4E3. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at St. Patricks Catholic Church 673 Victoria Ave, Niagara Falls, ON . Zbigniew will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Ontario following the funeral mass.
