I miss you grammie, I wish we had more time together but we dont. I love you and you hold a special place inside my heart

Hey Bett,
Thanks for treating me like family since the first time we met. Our times together were always fun; family dinners, holidays, visits to Northford and Niantic, and Mondays when I was injured. I always looked forward to seeing you and Pop. Thanks for always helping as much as you could, whenever you could, and for all the one-liners when I least expected them.

Tonight Kayla realized you are gone and cried herself to sleep. It's so hard to be strong for her and keep myself together. I watched Grease today and only thought of you, and your love for that movie. I think of you everyday. I miss you so much. I know you are looking down on us, watching over us. I love you, Grammie.

Bob, my thoughts and prayers are with you an the family during this extremely difficult time. Betty was an amazing and wonderful person and so caring. I will always remember the wonderful times we had together along with Diana and Dave at George's II. I will always remember Betty's smile and her strong spirit. Please take care, Bob.

Mrs. Williams was such a beautiful woman.  We, at Lyons, worked with Mr. Williams for many years and they came to visit us often after Bob retired.  God has another angel up in heaven and she will truly be missed.

Thank you for posting all of the photos.  They are a wonderful tribute to a beautiful woman.  Thinking of you and your families . . . love to all.

We will always remember Betty with great fondness and gratitude for her thoughtful and generous nature.  How could we forget the times that we spent together.  Lake Morey Inn: fishing at night, playing in the game room, attempting to play golf until Betty and I saw the snake in the grass, walking around our cabins with the slanted floors.  The trip to Rhode Island where we spent the night at the Nordic Lodge in soggy beds and then walking around Pt. Judith the next day.  Bob and Betty, you were wonderful friends and neighbors.  You are often in our thoughts and Jim and I speak of you remembering our times just sitting in the kitchen or on your porch talking. 
Betty was always there for her girls, Alison and Debbie.  Your mom was a wonderful person, but you already know that.  You and your Dad are in our thoughts. Betty will remain in our hearts.  Fondly, Jo-Ann and Jim Sweet

Betty was a wonderful neighbor. We had a lot of good times together. Dave and I will always remember our Saturday night dinners and dancing to the music of Bob Mel. We love you Betty and will miss you very much.

Betty was a wonderful next-door neighbor.  We will always remember seeing her in the yard, meticulously pulling every weed she spotted, and the lawn always looked beautiful.  Marilynn especially recalls Wednesday evenings in her basement working on ceramics. She was a warm and generous friend.  We missed her when she moved, and we will always remember her with fondness.

But most of all you taught me the importance of family. Not too long ago you told me that when it was time I would have to let you go. It was the last thing I wanted to hear.I was not ready to part with the person I could talk to about anything, my best friend. But on the day of your passing I held you as close to me as we could get and I whispered in your ear, "Mom, I love you and I wish we had more time, but when you are ready you can go".Now I realize that that was the greatest act of love that I could give to you and also the beginning of the healing process for me. I know you said we weren't suppose to cry but I miss you already. You will forever be in my heart.

You and Pop have been like second parents to me. When I remember that you're gone it brings me to my knees. I have endless wonderful memories of you; painting ceramics, raisin bread, garlic spaghetti, mac and cheese, learning to sew, weekends at your house, lake compounce, the chowder pot, summers in the pool, holidays, patsy cline, my wedding cake, and many more! They will forever remind me of you. You and Pop have been a great example that love and marriage is for life. I can only hope Emiro and I can be as happy as the two of you were together. I see so much of myself in you, and it reminds me that you will never really be gone. I love you more than I can describe, and will miss you every day.

We were so very sorry to hear about Betty's passing.  She was a wonderful woman and a wonderful neighbor to us.  She was thoughtful and giving and so very easy to talk to.  She loved so much and is loved so much by others.  Our prayers are with you all.

Bob, Alison , Debbie & Family - My prayers are with all of you during this time.  We, here in Woodvale, just learned that Betty had passed. Yes, there are many memories, neighborhood kids growing up, get-togethers, Jim's Christmas parties, and so many more.  She was happy, I am sure, being near all her kids, big ones and little ones.

We were truly blessed to have Betty in our lives and as our neighbor.  We love you and Bob.

Grammie- I love you so much. This doesn't feel real. You were a huge part of my life. I couldn't have asked for a better grandmother. I can't believe you are gone. I will.never ever forget you!

Dear Mom,
My favorite memory of you is watching you crabbing last summer with the kids in the bay. You were so happy, excited, and full of life. If you would have told me then how little time we would have left, I would not have believed it. I have so many memories of you: planting things in your garden and waging your personal war against the crab grass in your backyard just to name a few. You were an excellent home manager, and elevated house cleaning to a whole new level. You loved shopping, dancing to the oldies, and sitting on your swing in the sun with Daisy. We all knew how important your family was to you. Even when we lived far away, you made us feel close to you through phone calls, email, and care packages. It was hard to watch you slip away from us, but knowing that we will see you again one day helps me get through.
    I miss you already.

Dear Grammie,
I have so loved having you in my life. I have learned so many things from you: a love of all things raspberry, the joys of great manicure and pedicure, and an addiction to crime and reality tv, just to name a few. I have so many great memories of all of our shopping trips together, summer dinners on your porch, and just spending time together. You have been such a huge part of my life, and I am going to miss you so much. But like you always said, we aren't going to say good bye. We are going to say see you later.
