Jamie was born July 4, 1966 in New London, the son of Judith Henderson of Niantic, and James Richard Henderson, Sr of Clarington, PA.
Jamie was a graduate of East Lyme High School and was employed as a woodworker. Jamie was passionate about Nature and its care. He was a member of the Seirrera Club of CT and avid believer of the organization’s objectives. Jamie had a special fondness, respect and compassion for all animals, great and small.
In addition to his parents, Jamie is survived by his sisters, Tammy Waitkus of Mystic and Gretchen French of Middleburg FL.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 7pm at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave., Niantic. Visiting hours will be held for two hours prior to the service from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
