Mom, its been a little over a year since that horrible day that we had to let you go. Even though you are not here with us, you are still in our hearts everyday.  Not a day goes by that I don't think of you.  And not a moment goes by that I don't miss you. It has been such as hard year learning to live with out you and daddy both. They say that time heals, well I think that when you lose someone you love, that no amount of time will ever fully heal the heart. I think you just learn to live with it. And that we learn to continue on with our lives. The life you gave us! I hope you know that all 5 of us kids realize that we had the best mother in the world. A mother that we will love and miss always. Also you are so missed by all your grandchildren and great grandchildren and all of the family. You left behind a lot of broken hearts mom!  We often speak of you and daddy.  We laugh at the funny times, we remember the happy times, and we cry over the sad times. Brooke talks about you and daddy all the time.  She has so many pictures, videos, and memories that she will cherish forever. You'll always be in our hearts.   When I was a little girl I remember thinking that you turned out to be such an amazing mother, and you didn't have your mother around. And I would wish that when I grew up I would be like you.  And that's what I try to do mom, be like you!

Mom,1 year has passed ,our feelings have not passed nor do I expect them to ,we carry on but it will never be the same.we will miss you until we die, not a day goes bye that I do not think of you !! future generations will never know what Angel of a mother we had what a Angel of a wife you were to Dad,and how you turn tears to smiles,and brought peace where ever you travel to,you are a Angel for sure,your 5 children were blessed ,we only hope that future generations will know the love and happiness you gave to us all ,and you will live in there hearts so they can feel the love we have!!

It hurts me so much to come to this point in my life where I have to say goodbye to my mother, the one person in my life who truly loved me unconditionally, believed in me beyond belief-a person who knew me better than I know myself.  She dedicated her life to her children and loved us all the same.  She always made something good out of any situation.  She was the glue that held this family together for so many years.  An amazing woman-cleaning jelly off the walls (not telling daddy how it got there)Letting us to stay up late to watch Starsky & Hutch and Beretta while daddy was bowling.  Not telling dad how I cut my head and needed stitches (headstands-right!) Even while me and Guy were standing in the corner for fighting, when we heard dad's car pull up, she would let us go to bed and never told daddy.  I remember one day, Vic broke a dinner plate and she made it funny by giving Uncle Jimmy a half a plate of spaghetti!  I'll never forget that. There's not enough room in this computer to say all that I want to, but one thing I know for sure, on that night Sept. 19th at 9:39 pm when we all heard bells, I know she was accepted into heaven with open arms.  She is now reunited with her true love and I must accept that and be happy.  I believe in my heart you were needed somewhere else.  I believe your passing was the beginning of a new family in heaven.  Mom, Dad and Lil Al I will always hold you so close in my heart forever and hope someday (not too soon) I will be with you all again.

So sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I remember her very well as a caring , humble and loving person. As a child I remember coming to Groton for a visit and your mom was always there getting involved with us kids. She was so nice to hang around with and lots of fun. Always making us laugh and never saying anything to our parents if we did anything wrong like smoking. She was so cool with us and we all adopted her as our special good friend. I have many wonderful memories of your mom. To me she will always be a very special lady that I was honored to have known through the years. 
Our sincere sympathy to all of you. Hope that God gives all of you the strength to carry on and do what you mom taught you to do and that was to be honest and hard working  people.

Mom, I don't know where to begin.  This is just so hard to do. Losing you has been so hard on all of us. You are an amazing mother who has taught her children so much. You and Dad have showed us what it is to truly love someone.Your love and devotion to Dad, and your love for your kids and our families will live on in our hearts forever.  You were not only the best mom in the world, you were my best friend. I am so lost without you. I miss seeing you sitting on the couch at night with your cup of tea and pile of chocolates. I miss calling you everyday and every night.  There's just so much about you I miss.  I still can not believe that you are not here anymore.  I thought for sure you would live to be a very old lady!!!! So many questions as to why you had to go. Maybe we will never know those answers.  But I do know that you would want us to go on with our lives and to be happy.  And that you would want us all to continue to look after one another and stay close to each other. So, somehow that's what we will do. But please know that you are and will always be loved and missed so much, and that we will carry that love in our hearts everyday. I know that you are with Dad  and Little Al now. And that you are all together watching over us. Let them know that they are also loved and missed so much.  Rest in Peace Mom.  I love you.

mom its just been to painful to come to this site ,no words could ever come close to tell you how much we love you,how we know you loved us,life for us will never be the same,our hearts have been crushed,but as i take a deep breath I know you would want us to carry on.I really believe that you are once again joined with dad and your grandson Alfred,and you know that your family will love you always.

My heart is heavy for you my dear cousins Vic, Bobby, Al, Debbie and Guy and the rest of the family for loss of your Mom. She was so good to everyone. I remember we had many allot of fun times together on vacations growing up as kids. My favorite thing in the whole world was her spaghetti and her incredible meatballs! She was one of a kind and truly my mothers dearest sweet confidant, wonderful Moo. Now she and Uncle and lit Al have each other to look over us from above.

I am so shocked and saddened by the loss of your mother.  I recently just saw her, and she looked as beautiful as ever. Your mother was the most sweet, gentle and kind woman I know, and I will always cherish the memories I have of her, your dad, and all of you.  Now they are both together once again. Muriel was a great neighbor of my Mother, Alma Norton and she was a big help to her when she had knee surgery.In those years every neighbor supported each other like family.Now she is at peace and with her AL once again.Thank you Muriel for your love.Margaret Burns Daughter of Alma.
