

Mr. Huber was born on January 15, 1927 in New York City, the son of John and Veronica Hughes Huber.
William was a WWII veteran. He was awarded military honors for his bravery during the war.
He is predeceased by his wife Marie on June 27, 1989. He was employed for many years for the City of New York until his retirement in 1987.
Mr. Huber was an animal lover. He loved all animals, especially his dogs Cassie and Bruno and his two cats, Zinger and Molly. He had a passion for history and would quiz his friends and family often.
Mr. Huber is survived by his four sons, Charles and John Gallagher of Norwich, James Gallagher of FL and Eddie Gallagher of Groton, two daughters Carol Lamothe and her husband Norman Lamothe of Waterford and Veronica Reguin and her husband Kenneth Reguin of Bozrah and his two grandchildren, Monica Wiggins of Montville, Allison Reguin of Bozrah and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Josie Grace Wiggins. He is also predeceased by his daughter Lorraine, his brother John Huber and his sister
Veronica Northshield.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 9:30am in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave., Niantic, CT 06357. Interment will follow in East Lyme Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to CT Humane Society.
