Alton C “A.C.” “Chief” Duhe, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on August 1, 2011 at the age of 76. He was a retired desk sergeant with the New Orleans Police Department and owner of River Parish Polygraph and River Parish Locksmith, Bayou Steel as an EMT and served in the USMC.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gloria Duhe and sons Alton “Butch” Duhe, Jr, Steven Duhe (Terri), Timothy Duhe (Trudy) and Evans “Buddy” Duhe (Dawn). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is the son of the late Sidney and Leoda Duhe. Brother of Dottie LaBranche, Yvonne Richoux, Catherine Weber and the late Lloyd Duhe and Lorraine LaBranche.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St., Norco and will continue on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 8:00 am until time of service. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 am with Fr. Terry Becnel officiant.
