Burton Patrick Mayeux

Age 69 years a native of Simmesport, LA and a resident of LaPlace, LA for the past 40 years.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Peggy LaCour Mayeux.

Devoted father of Tina Mayeux, and the late Gregory Jude Mayeux.

Son of the late Ellis P. Mayeux and Verlie Brown Mayeux.

Brother of Audrey Desselles, Beryl Dufrene (Herbert), Marion Bordelon, Inez Chunn (Avis), Raymond Mayeux, Philip Mayeux (Mona), John Jerry Mayeux, (Susan), and the late Harold Mayeux.

Grandfather of Heidi Michelle Mayeux Hymel and Justice John Hymel.

Also survived by numerous loving Nieces and Nephews.

Burton retired with Shell Chemical Company after 27 years of service.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at St. Peter Catholic Church 1550 LA Hwy 44, Reserve, LA. Followed by interment in St. Peter Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at St Peter Catholic Church.
