James “Jimmy” Barre passed away April 17, 2017. He is survived by his children Mandy Barre (Lauren), Brandon Barre, Nina Barre, three sisters Angela Barre Comeaux (Gary), Andrea Barre (Billy Brady), and Monica Barre Abadie (Harry). He is also survived by three grandchildren, his god child Holly Barre Landry (Joey), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his brother Michael J. Barre, mother Gisela Barre, and father James “Baby Jim” Barre Jr.
Memorial services will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Reserve, LA on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 beginning at 10 AM with a Memorial Mass at 11 AM. Inurnment to follow in the church cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.HCAlexander.com.
