Karen Johnson Donnaud

Karen was the beloved wife of 51 years to Gerald Donnaud and a devoted mother to Danielle Clause (Aaron) and Wesley Donnaud (Kaycee). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Carly, Tyler, Jayce, Lexi, and Riley, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her brother, John Johnson, and her sister, Barbara Johnson Wood, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Anthony Johnson and Wilma Boone Johnson, and her sister, Kelly Johnson Breaux.

Karen found her greatest happiness in time spent with her family. She especially enjoyed time at her camp, baking, and traveling. Her home was often filled with warmth and laughter, and she treasured being surrounded by her grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will live on in their hearts.

A graveside prayer service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Cemetery, 1279 Paul Maillard Road, Luling, Louisiana 70070.

Karen will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, kindness, and the special way she brought her family together.
