Lydia Marie Robert, native of Ama, Louisiana, passed away on December 31, 2015. She was the wife of the late Preston J. Robert. Daughter of the late Ernestine Marie Hymel Robert and Marshal (Marcel) Robert. Sister of the late Andrew Robert (Edna), Leola Robert Zeringue (Huey-"Joe"), Anna-Mae Robert, Odette Robert, and Ernest Victor Robert, died at 6-weeks old. Survivors are Ernestine R. Kappel (John-"Dutch") and Francis M. Robert (Sandra). She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, including the Laurent family of Baton Rouge-of her mother's youngest sister, and the Robert family of Ama-of her husband's side. She will be missed dearly by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, January 5, 2015 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Ama, La from 9:00AM till 10:45AM.
