Marahlee Gendron Mollere

Marahlee Gendron Mollere passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at her home. She was a native of Lucy, La. and a longtime resident of Taft, La. The loving wife of the late Haydel Joseph Mollere for 60 blissful years. Together they had three children; Wayne Mollere(Lindi), Kerry Mollere(Patricia) and Darlene Mollere-Ellis(Don). Grandmother to Malinda Mollere, Amanda Mollere, Chelsea Mollere, Darcie Startz(Reed), James Mollere, Donell Ellis, Allison Trejo(Jesse) and Mitchell Wagoner. Great-grandmother to Payton, Madison, Keegan, Gaven, Logan, Graycen, Olivia, and Maria. Marahlee was born on October 2, 1922 to her parents, Mabel Landeche Gendron and Noe Gendron. She was the sister of Mae Picard, Lois Wylie, Earline Frank, Allen Gendron, the late Nellie Deselies and the late Betty Guillot.

Marahlee was a devoted wife and loving mother to her children. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she taught religion for many years. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Luling. For many years she worked at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.

The family would like to thank her two devoted caregivers, Harriet and Daisy, for their excellent care over the last nine years. We are also grateful for the services of Notre Dame Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 28, 2015, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville, La. at 10:00 a.m. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. till Mass time.
