Mary Joan Caillet Smith entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the age of 56. She was a native of Luling, La and e resident of Metairie, La for the past 7 years. Beloved mother of Jeremy Russell Smith and wife Polly Marie Rolman-Smith, Brittany Helene Smith Orgeron and husband Seth Michael Orgeron. Grandmother of Hunter Michael Orgeron and Holdyn Odell Orgeron. Companion of Timothy J. Jeansonne. Daughter of the late Odell Francis Caillet and Jeanne Brou Caillet.
Mary was a graduate of Hahnville High School and Nicholls State University. She was a retired respiratory therapist of 24 years at Baptist Hospital.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville, La on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 10AM. A visitation will be held from 9AM till the time of service. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
