Mitchel J. Trepagnier

Mitchel J. Trepagnier peacefully entered into eternal rest at the age of 91 in his home. Mitchel was born in and was a life-long resident of Norco, LA and was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Marilyn Colon Trepagnier, parents Hypolite and Louise Trepagnier, and his siblings Harry Trepagnier, George Trepagnier and Mary Robicheaux. He was the proud father of Andree T. Weber, Chris M. Trepagnier (Shanda) and John M. Trepagnier (Marcia), and a loving grandfather to Tristan and Elise Trepagnier. Mitch served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater, retired from the Shell Refinery in 1988 after 41 years of service, and was a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Mitch loved to fish and was a member of the Bonnet Carre Rod & Gun Club for many years. Mitchel's children would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the many family and friends who routinely checked in on their Dad, allowing him to live independently at home for the past 13 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Norco on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Noon. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Private burial to follow at a later date.
