Patricia Surridge Charrier

Patricia “Pat” Surridge Charrier, 79, passed away on December 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She will be remembered for a life defined by kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished.

Her legacy lives on as a devoted mother to Patricia “Trisha” Charrier Lorio (Duane) and Yvette Charrier; a proud MiMi to Connor, Emma, and Adam Lorio, and Gage and Bryce Charrier. She was a caring sister to Peggy Simoneaux (David) and Russell Surridge, Jr. (MaryRose), and a precious aunt to David Simoneaux, Jr., Nicole Simoneaux-Masters (Noah), Daniel (Nicole), and Trevor Surridge, as well as great-aunt to Milou and Magriete. She is survived by her beloved dog, Trip, and granddog, Ruby, her faithful companion in her final weeks. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Grace (née Sevin) Surridge, Sr.

Pat graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1963 and began a long career at Thionville Laboratories, where she remained until her recent illness. She treasured annual trips to her favorite beach with its emerald waters, found joy in cheering on her grandchildren, and loved crossword puzzles, cooking, painting, and playing cards and slots with friends. Pat was a devoted parishioner of St. Matthew Catholic Church in River Ridge for many years.

Services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 155 Holy Family Lane, Luling. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM, followed by the Rosary at 10:30 AM and Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan.

All are invited to a reception at Holy Family Parish Center following the funeral services.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate team at Guardian Angel Hospice for their exceptional care and support during Pat’s final days.

In loving memory of Pat, the family invites friends and loved ones to keep her in their prayers and to offer memorial Masses for the repose of her soul.
