Ruth was an extraordinary seamstress. Starting at the age of 5, there was nothing she couldn’t sew. She opened Bridal Belles with two friends in the early 80’s in Destrehan, which catered to many new brides and their mothers and bridesmaids. She sewed for anyone, including St. Charles Borromeo Church and School.
Ruth loved her faith, family, and sewing. She will be remembered as being filled with immense, unconditional love and devotion for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Special thanks to Katrina and her team for their care and compassion during this time.
Relatives and friend are invited to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan, LA on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10AM with Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 12PM. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
