Stanford J. Weber Jr.

Stanford J. Weber, Jr. (Paperdoll) 78, resident of LaPlace, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015. Stan was a 1954 graduate of Destrehan High School, lettered in baseball at LSU, and was a big fan of all sports- particularly when it involved any of his grandchildren. Stan was born and lived in New Sarpy most of his life, and was the retired owner of Club 99 in Norco.

He is survived by spouse, Cheryl Matherne Weber, and former spouse, Deanna Bergeron Weber. He is lovingly remembered by his children- Stephen Weber(Becky), Alison Steib(Danny), Gigi Johnson(Stephen, deceased), Jami Long(Scotty), Michelle Curlee(Kevin), Tim Rebowe(Kim), Kristal Stevens Jones and Damian Stevens(Rachel). Pops is also survived by grandchildren Hannah Weber, Renny Weber, Jace Weber, Emily Weber, Ryan Steib, Sam Steib, Joshua Johnson(Nicole), Jessica Johnson Gardere(Kyle), Meghan Johnson, Jacob Long(Beth), Amanda Long, Brennan Breaud, Colton Curlee, Samantha Rebowe, Tyler Rebowe, Devin Jones, Cy Jones, Kaitlin Stevens and Jonah Stevens, and great-grandchildren Grifyn Johnson, S.J. Johnson and Bryn Gardere. Stan is also survived by his sister, Ruth Weber Candrea.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents – Odiana Granier and Stanford Weber, Sr and siblings, Ruby Mire and Maude Phillips.

Condolences may be offered on Saturday, May 16 from 9:30 AM until 11:00AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Norco, LA, with a prayer service to follow. A private committal service will be held at a later date.
