Virginia Ferraro Zeringue, age 61 of Luling, LA, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Slidell Memorial Hospital. Virginia was born on December 12, 1962 as was a lifelong resident of Norco, LA and St. Charles Parish.
Virginia was the daughter of the late Ignazio Nat Ferraro and Dorothy Mary Laiche Ferraro. Beloved companion of Kirk Jouty; loving mother of Melba Kenney (Garrett), Alexis Zeringue (Matt), Marten Zeringue II (Stefani), and Jennifer Jouty; grandmother of Carter, Crista, Michael, Clarissa, Makayla, Ambrielle, Aria, Rowan, and Aeilani; sister of Verna Cambre (the late Paul), Gail Roussel (the late Mark), Bonnie Comardelle (Luther), Mary Ann Champagne (Boobie), Nicky Ferraro (Libby), Anna Ferraro (the late Deke), Laura Hebert (Jim), and the late Judy Hebert (Stephen). She's also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
In honor of Virginia's love for the color blue, the family requests that guests please wear something blue to keep her memory alive.
A visitation for Virginia will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 22 Apple St, Norco, Louisiana 70079, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
