Audrey V. Walker, 82 of Chesapeake VA passed away on October 11, 2012 in Virginia Beach Va. Audrey retired from the City of Norfolk after many years of service as an Administration Specialist. Audrey volunteered at Sentara Leigh in the gift shop and was a devoted member of Calvin Presbyterian Church. She is predeceased by her husband George Julian “Boogie” Walker Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Cynthia Hickman, George Walker Jr. and his wife Desiri; step daughter Sherry Lankford and her husband Robert; grandchildren Amber Smith and Robert W. Carter III, and his wife Angela; five great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 1:30pm located at 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk VA 23502; Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In Memory of Audrey monetary contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
