Aurelia Escobar Lavarias

Aurelia E. Lavarias, passed away on March 13, 2019. She was born in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines to the late Manuel and Benilda Tactay and is predeceased by siblings, Cecilia Tactay, Leonita Quitoriano (Tactay), Theodora Tactay, Aida Rabara (Tactay), Emma Alcantara (Tactay) and Arsenio Tactay.

Aurelia lived several years in California and worked as a Registered Nurse 40 years at the Fairview Developmental Center in Costa Mesa, CA. She was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Costa Mesa and later a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in Chesapeake, VA. Aurelia developed a talent for interior decorating, dancing and taking care of a large family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
