Barbara Ann Ford

Barbara Ann Ford, 79, of Virginia Beach, was at home surrounded by her family when she peacefully passed away on July 30, 2020. She was born in Piney Flats, TN to the late Robert Lee Smith, Sr. and Hazel Novella Burnette Smith and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Doran Elder Ford. Barbara served her community for many years as a Virginia Beach Public Schools Bus Driver. Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Glenn Ford; daughter, Constance Loraine Brown; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Ardis S. Morton; brother, Robert L. Smith, Jr.; and a host of other family and friend. Barbara will have a private memorial service.
