Suffolk, VA Bernard L. Moore, 63, of Suffolk passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 at his residence. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era but served in Korea. He received a bachelor of Business from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and his Masters in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and building boats in his spare time. Bernard had worked for 25 years with the Becthel Corporation and was currently working for the City of Norfolk as a Program Analyst. He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years in May of 2008. Surviving are three children, Phillip Wieting and his wife, Audra; Michele Wieting and Leslie Moore along with two grandchildren, Emma and Blake. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk and where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday with interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
