Bobby Dean Dill

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Bobby Dean Dill on March 7, 2026 at his home in Virginia Beach, VA at the age of 68. He was born in Norfolk, VA to Forest Eugene and Peggy Bartee Dill.

Bobby was a go getter at a young age, working as a busboy, paperboy, and at the county fair, where he became particularly adept at the carnival games. He was a standout athlete playing baseball, basketball, and softball in his early years while being an avid golfer later in life.

Much of his adult life was devoted to his successful landscaping company, From Our Yard to Yours, which he built from a single mower to an expansive enterprise.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of sixteen years, Cheryl; his mother Peggy; his children, Joseph, Jeffrey, Jason, Rick (Andi), Rachel (Andrew), and Lindsey; grandchildren, Noah, Lyla, Lou, Caroline, and Charley; siblings, John (Virginia) and Angelita (Dale); and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Forest; siblings Robert “Bim” and Timothy.
