On July 3, 2018, Carol Anne Reed (age 67) went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, on June 29, 1951, she was the daughter of Thurman Jennings (deceased) and Charlotte Jennings, now 92 years of age. She is also survived by her two children: daughter Dawn Reed and son Jack F. Reed, III, (wife Kim); four grandchildren: Jack F. Reed, IV, Luke Reed, Lily Reed and Kate Reed; sister Nancy Thomas and her husband Bernie and their two children and grandchildren; brother John and his wife Laurie and their three children and grandchildren; second nephew Gavin Riley who addressed her as “nana" (honorary); and best friend Carol Telford. “I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). A memorial service will be held Monday, July 9 at 3 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8100 Granby Street, Norfolk, Virginia.
