

He proudly served 22 years in the U.S. Navy. He was a devout destroyer sailor, serving in Norfolk, VA. and Newport, RI.
He is predeceased by his son, Scott Michael Clous, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue Clous; children, Charles “Chuck” Clous, III, Gary Wesley Clous, Sr. (wife Linda), Theresa Ann Clous, Eva Marie Richardson (husband Terry), Adam Nathan Clous (wife Lisa) and Scott Michael Clous, Jr. all of Norfolk, VA. and David Mulkins (wife Louise) of New York City, NY.
He also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He is survived by brother Tom Pearce of AR., Sandra Peterson (husband Rick) of Minnesota and Mari Jacaba of Indiana. He is predeceased by brothers Gary Clous and Timothy Pearce. He had many good friends throughout the years. He was an avid and loyal New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan.
A memorial service will be held on March 12, at 1 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, Virginia. After the service, family and friends will meet to share memories at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Norfolk at 2741 Greendale Ave.
