Charles Edward Lee, 84, passed away December 12, 2016. He was born in Saint Charles, VA to the late Fritz and Virgie Lee. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He then worked for the government in Sups Ships, Newport News. Charlie was a member of the Great Bridge Masonic Lodge and was very active in the Shrine and became the Past Potentate and recorder of the Khedive Shriners. Charlie will receive a Shriner’s 50 year pin in January. He loved the shrine, but had to retire in 2015.
Left to cherish Charlie’s memory is his loving wife of 64 years, Joan F.; and his sister, Shirley Dotson; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15th, 5-7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16th, 11 AM. Both will take place at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E.
