Virginia Beach- Christopher Mark Allen, 20, went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 11, 2009. He was a 2007 graduate of Kempsville High School. Chris was a member of Avalon Church of Christ, and had a passion for watching sports, especially football and playing basketball.
Chris is survived by his parents Tammy and Joseph Allen; younger brother Noah Allen; maternal grandparents William and Janice Nickerson; paternal grandmother Catherine M. Allen; great grandmother Claudia Nickerson; aunts Nichole Nickerson and Suzanne Allen; uncle Jason Nickerson and his wife Christi; best friend Aaron Devlin; numerous cousins, and so many loving friends and family.
A visitation will be held Sunday, December 13, from 4 to 6 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A service will take place Monday, December 14, at 1 PM in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk. Condolences may be offered to the family on-line at www.woodlawngroup.com.
