Clarence Paul Gray

Clarence was born in New York, and retired from the military in Virginia. He was a proud military veteran who served 20 years in the U.S. Navy. Patricia Gray, his late wife of 43 ½ years, predeceased him on 6/3/2015. Together they successfully raised 5 children.

He is survived by his wife Mary Gray, his children; Jack Timbreza, Manuel Timbreza, Jillestine Smith

(husband Donald Smith), Eric Paul Gray, Clarence Paul Gray, and Joan Gray Krietel ( husband David Krietel), his grandchildren; Brittany Timbreza, Nicole Krietel, Stephanie Krietel, Ismeal Gray, Shai Gray, Makada Gray, Aronasia Gray, Joyce Gray, Tyra Gray, Clarence Paul Gray Jr, and 1 great granddaughter. He was predeceased in death by his son Romerto Escubio.

His children will be forever grateful for his fine example as a hard-working father and great provider for his family. We will all miss his entertaining personality, great sense of humor, as well as his strong passionate opinions.

A graveside service followed by a repast will be held at on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502. Woodlawn Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Please visit www.woodlawngroup.com to share a memory with family.
