David is predeceased by his parents, Gilbert Rea and Margret Marie (Flanagan) Baker, and his brother Gilbert Rea “Ray” Baker, Jr. and wife Helen. He leaves his love, Nancy, best friend and wife of 47 years, his children, Christopher and Kathleen, stepson, Jeff, seven grandchildren, Samantha, Caleb, Parrish, Jessica, Stephen, Harrison, Aric, and four great grandchildren, Niomie, Jayce, Aiyanna, and Alice.
David was born in Norfolk, Virginia on February 24, 1940. He was a member of the United States Marine Corp, a Central Office Technician with C&P Telephone for 35 years and was a part time school bus driver for Tranquest driving for schools such as Norfolk Academy. He enjoyed bowling, woodworking, traveling, gardening, and enjoying his loving family.
