

Diana Lee McGaha, 80, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of November 20, 2018 after a long battle with Dementia. Born the daughter of the late Harry and Willie Mae Wilson Sr., she was a native of Norfolk, VA. Diana was preceded in death by her husband William D. McGaha.
To all that knew Diana, she cherished her family above all else. She was a loving wife, angel mom, beloved sister, friend and life-long Washington Redskins fan. Diana will be remembered for her kind heart and loving spirit. Diana was a graduate of Norview High School, Class of 1957. After 31 years of service, she retired from Bell Atlantic as a directory assistance operator. After retirement, Diana and her husband hit the open road in their travel trailer to see the United States. She is survived by her son, John R. Miller and wife Sheryl of Dunkirk, MD: stepson, James McGaha of Bend, Oregon: stepdaughter, Jeanne Munden of Norfolk, VA: brother, Harry F. Wilson of Blue Ridge, VA: sister, Delores A. Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA and grandchildren, Jacob, Cory and Dylan Miller of Dunkirk, MD, Logan Munden of Washougal, WA, Allison and Robert McGaha of El Cajon, CA and nieces and nephew, Erica, Rhonda and Michael Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on Friday Nov. 30, 2018, 10:00 am at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23502. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Diana’s name to Station 16 of the Virginia Beach Fire Department, 3608 S. Plaza Trail, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
