Norfolk- Doris Madeline Brown, 83, passed away on September 14, 2011. She was born in New Bedford, MA and is the daughter of the late Charles and Florence Martin. Doris loved reading and movies. She is survived by her sons; James Brown (Janet) and Chester Brown of New Bedford, Ma., and daughters; Barbara Fluharty (David) of Magnolia, N.J. and Linda Akin of Norfolk, Va., five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
