Edith " Maxine" Chappell Watson, 82, passed away Friday, June 24, 2011. She was employed as a pharmaceutical clerk for over fifty years, starting with Burrow Martin, Kempsville Pharmacy, and currently Rite- Aid. She loved serving the many people that she met over her long working journey.
Maxine was predeceased by her husband Burnice Watson. She is survived by her daughters Loretta Duncan of St. Petersburg, FL, and Nancy Melton and husband Wiley of Knotts Island, NC; sister Katherine Wilson of Holly Ridge, NC; grandchildren Kurt Variot, Amanda Gibbs and her husband Danny all of Virginia Beach, and Zach Melton of Knotts Island, NC; and great grandchildren Tori, Tyler, and Chloe.
A service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11a.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk.
