He retired from TRT Bus Company after twenty-five years of service and BM Motors after ten years. He was an usher at New Mount Olivet Baptist Church until his illness.
he is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Thelma Wallace of 57 years; four daughters, Vicki Wallace of Mississippi, Valencia Wallace of Portsmouth, VA, Rosalind Jean of Chesapeake, VA and Frances Wallace of Montgomery, AL; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a very special caregiver, Mrs. Martha Williams; best friend, Mr. George Mincey; two loving and caring nephews, Fredrick Jones and Christopher Sykes.
