She was nearly 90. Born to Agnes and Frank Wittner. Elizabeth graduated with a two year degree from the University of Connecticut and went on to work at the Travelers Insurance Company, before raising four girls.
She was involved in the Junior Bowling Program for 38 years and later managed the Alibi Lounge at Ten Pin Bowl in South Windsor, Connecticut.
Lizzy was an avid NASCAR fan and cheered on Joey Lagano from her native Connecticut. Her favorite football team was the San Francisco 49ers. She loved to travel and enjoyed fishing and visiting with family and friends at Owlwood on the lake and the Cabin in the Woods in Virginia.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen and husband Steve; Darlene; Jamie and husband Steve; Valerie and husband Mike; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her sister Frannianne Krechko; and many nieces and nephews. Also two pets, CocoPuff and Coconut. Information for a future service will be passed along at a later date.
