The family will surely miss his charm, wit, generosity, beautiful eyes, and loving personality. He is preceded in death by his son, Eugene Black IV, paternal father Jeremiah Easterling, paternal grandmother Maggie Felton, maternal grandmother Lena Drummond, his brother, Richard Black, mother-in-law, Lillie Milsap, brothers-in-law, Arthur Ray Ledbetter, Allen J. Milsap, and walked through the gates with his sister-in-law, Betty Carney.
Tony is survived by his wife Mattie Black; Children, Eugenia (Andre) Butler & Catrina Easterling; Mother, Pearl Oliver; 2 sisters and 2 brothers; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, bowling friends and family who loved him dearly.
Homegoing services will be Friday, May 9th, 1pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home at 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
