Franklin Early Adams

Franklin E. Adams, 80, passed away in his home after a long battle with cancer peacefully with his family by his side on October 10, 2021. He was born in High Point, NC to late Early and Rachel Adams. Frank was a big sports fan; he loved Nascar, wrestling, and the Carolina Panthers. He is survived by his wife 22 years, Phyllis; 3 children, Jody Adams (Annette), Cheryl Herman (Frank), and Barbie Widener (Mike); 2 step-children, Chuck Rhinehart and Crystal Blandford (Mike); 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends form 6-8:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his honor.
