Norfolk, VA Gilbert Rea Baker, Jr., age 78, passed away at his home on March 10, 2012. He was a driver for Miller Oil, and a former Norfolk Police Officer. "Ray" Baker served his country as a Marine during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge #10 and with the Ziyad Temple #228 of DOKK. Surviving are his wife, Helen Young Baker, a son, Fred A Baker of Norfolk; a daughter, Teresa Lynn Jones and her husband, Jerry of Virginia Beach; a brother, David Lee Baker of Norfolk. 4 grandchildern, Tyler Lee Baker and Crystal, Danielle Simmons, Dustin Simmons and Jazmin Jones.
