Godfrey Richard (Dick) Baldwin, 91, passed away July 2, 2016. Godfrey was born August 4, 1924 to the late Harry and Ruth Baldwin in Parris Island, SC. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth French and sister-in-law Clara Baldwin.
Godfrey attended Virginia Tech (VPI) and George Washington University. He retired from the Army Corps of Engineers. Godfrey enjoyed playing golf at Lake Wright and Cypress Point golf courses. He loved square dancing and enjoyed many cruises. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; brothers, John, Harry, Charles, and David; and sister, Rosemary Kubik. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
