Iluminado M. Santos, 74, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at DePaul Medical Center. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. He was the son of the late Porfirio Santos and Adelaida Miranda Santos.
After 28 years as a Financial Analyst for the US Government he retired to spend time with his wife and family. A dedicated member of St. Pius X Catholic Church for 30 years he was the treasurer for the Fil-Am Association.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Zenaida Santos; children: Alma S. Pangan (Rogelio Jr.), Noel Santos (Katie), and Teddy S. Santos (Tunisia); seven grandchildren Marissa, Timothy, Austin, Adam, Jacquelyn, Teddy Jr., and Connor; and five brothers Cayetano Santos, Arthur Santos, Javier Santos, Loysel Santos, and Gil Santos.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 6-9 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7800 Halprin Dr. ,Norfolk with Father Nixon Negparanon officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.woodlawngroup.com
