James Murphy

James "Jim" Murphy, 62, passed away on Tuesday July 19, 2022 in Norfolk, VA. He was born Pittsfield, MA. to William " Bill" Murphy and the late Audrey Phillips Murphy Kolenda. He is predeceased by his mother, Audrey Kolenda, mothers-in-law, Marjorie A. Hassett and Florence Suit, brother, Robbie Murphy, brothers-in-law- James L Suit and Jesse L Suit.

Jim work as a Delivery Route driver majority of his life with the most recent at Republic National Distributing Company "RNDC". Previously worked for Amazon as a Flex delivery driver, FedEx Ground as Contractor Route owner and driver for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars and computers as well helping others when needed.

James is survived by his Loving wife -Joyce Murphy, daughter- Khayla Cann, son - Michael Staehling, sister-Vanessa Donielle, brother- Timothy Murphy, sister-in-law -Valerie Doss, father - William Murphy, father-in-law - James C Suit, step father - John Kolenda, son- in-law - John Cann, grandson - Jackson Cann, and several nieces and nephews. James will be cherished in their memories forever.
