Norfolk- James B. " Sleepy" Pollock, Jr., 64, of Virginia Beach, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007 in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital. Born in Nashville, Tn. to the late James B. and Rose T. Pollock, Sr. Married Janet Welch on September 2, 1961. Proud veteran of the U.S Navy. Employed 40 years at Land N' Sea, formally Norfolk Marine Distributing. Member of Holy Spirt Catholic Church. He loved movies, woodworking, and spending time with family. Survived by his wife, Janet; son, Chris C. Mackey; three daughters, Teresa Morissette and husband, Greg, Tracy A. Rhinard and husband, Drew, Tina "Bug" Aselin and husband, Mike; six grandchildren, Teri, Danielle, Andrew, Michael, Steven, Samantha; brother, Fred Rowland and wife, Jackie. Predeceased by his parents and brother, Tom Pollock. A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, July 7, 2007 in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., with Rev. Salvador Anonuevo officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, July 6, 2007 from 6-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
