Joe A. Novak 89, of Virginia Beach passed away on Tuesday September 25th, 2007. Joe was born in Bryan, Texas on August 16, 1918. Joe served his country as a member of The US Army during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam Wars and retired after 31 years of faithful service. Joe is predeceased by his parents Albert and Tracy Novak, three brothers Woodrow R., Stanley, and Albert Novak, also two sisters Ann Wysatta and Emily Morton. Joe is survived by several nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 29, 2007with the Rev. Ernest Trueblood officiating in the Garden of the Avenue of Flags at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 pm Friday September 28, 2007 at the funeral home.
