John Price Jr. passed away surrounded by family on October 23, 2017. He was born in Norfolk was predeceased by his parents the late John and Alice Price; daughter, Tamika Price-Clark; brother, David Price and grandparents, Alexander and Noami Price.
John spent a career as a truck driver, loving every minute of driving all over the country. Nick named “Dead Man” because he once risked his own life trying to save a drowning friend to no avail. His friend’s last words were “thank you”. John was just a caring man. Ask anyone. He would drive you anywhere in his blue mercury. John was always the life of the party and often was a DJ, nick named “Disco Magic”. John loved to fish, but more than anything, he lived his family.
John leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Jacqueline M. Price; daughter, Keisha Moody; sons, Vincent and Anthony Price; sisters, Gloria J. Reynolds and Gloria Clark Harvey; brothers, Clifford L. Price and Milton Price; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a very special friend Kitty.
