She is survived by a son, John R. Cox, Jr.; and daughters, Sandra Kay Gould, Carnell Ricks and her husband, David, and Jonita Dixon and her husband, Phillip; son-in-law, Tom Burkett; 12 grandchildren, Sharon Ann, Jason Burkett and wife Talyse, Tammy Joyce Greene and husband Carey, Amy Jo Emmons, Daniel R. Whittenberg, Dean Cartwright, Jr., Brandon Cartwright, Nathan Ricks, Mariah Ricks, Stanley Dixon and wife Meredith, Laura Wetherington and husband Michael, Pamela Cherry and husband Bryan; and 9 great-grandchildren, Winter Moon Daughtrey, Devin James Newsome, Eva Darlene Greene, Kyran Burkett, Karyssa Burkett, Nolan Dixon, Avery Dixon.
