Chesapeake Joyce Ballance Tapley passed away November 9, 2009.Her life was her children, family and friends. She was a constant inspiration to all those she came in contact with. Joyce revealed incredible strength, compassion and courage throughout her struggle with cancer. Her love outshined all! Joyce is survived by her husband, Darrell Tapley, sons Nick Pryor, Ryan Tapley, James P. Tapley, Darren Tapley, Jason Pryor and Matthew Mundell, and daughter Julie Pryor, loving sister Brenda Custer and brothers Keith Ballance and William Ballance; one grandchild and many cousins and other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Joyce will be held Friday, November 13, from 6 to 8 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A service will be held Saturday November 14, at 12 PM in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 6329 E.
