Judith Anne Crumbly

Judith "Judy" Anne Crumbly, 78, passed away February 16, 2026 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Christopher Tustin and Beverly Carabine Tustin. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly. Judy was a proud 1966 graduate of Kellum High School. One fortunate day, Judy met the love of her life, Hoyt Glenn Crumbly at a skating rink. They were married on February 24, 1968 and spent 58 wonderful years together. Judy had an incredible love for being outside and loving her animals. She would rescue any animal, any size, and any condition. Judy wanted to save them all.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Hoyt Glenn; children, Scott (Cheri), Steven, and Melissa; grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Tierra, and Kiaya; great-grandchildren, Kylan, Max, and Jenesis; siblings, Christopher, Donna, and Patricia; and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. State Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk. A reception will be held following the service at Thalia United Methodist Church, 4321 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach from 2:30-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Virginia Beach SPCA in Judy's honor at www.vbspca.com.
