Judith “Judy” Gay, 81, passed away August 18, 2017. Judy was born in Poston SC to the late Finklea and Harlan Perry. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Stone and sister, Frankie Cribb.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, George, son: Michael (Peggy), four daughters: Lois Teed (Dalton), Julie Wargo (Ed), Gayle Brown (Richard) and Courtney Mellette (Frank), 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Judy’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 10 AM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502. The visitation will be Monday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Elizabeth City, NC following the funeral service.
