Lilly Clarice Adams, age 85, passed away January 26, 2012 at DePaul Hospital. She was the widow of Ornado Adams and was preceded in death by her daughters, Betty Ann Adams Corrigan and Angel Adams. Lilly was a native of North Carolina and a longtime resident of the Hampton Roads area. Surviving are two daughters; Brenda Williams-Street(Edward) and Sharon Adams all of Chesapeake, VA; four sons; Larry Griggs of Wadesboro, NC, Ornado Adams, Jr., Virginia Beach, VA, Michael Adams(Terry), Virginia Beach, VA and Jerry Adams of Norfolk, VA; 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA and where funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 with Rev Doyle Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
