Mabel C Bull

Mabel Carter Bull, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017. Born in Old Norfolk County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse M. and Beulah Sykes Carter. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Bull, her brothers James and Duke Carter, and her son-in-law Pete Gregory. Mabel was a member of Discovery Church (previously known as Holland Road Baptist Church) and a former member of Indian River Baptist Church. Mabel was known for her love of music. She taught children’s music in several private schools and played for numerous weddings, funerals, and community events. A former pianist at Indian River Baptist Church, Mabel had served as pianist for Holland Road Baptist Church for more than 45 years.

Survivors include a sister, Joyce Carter (Bill); three children, Linda Bull, Janet Gregory, and Arthur Bull (Sandra); four grandchildren, John Gregory (Kim), Marinda Kimidy (Patrick), Lindsey Bull, and Caleb Bull; three great-grandchildren, Carter Jane Kimidy, Ridley Gregory, and Sawyer Kimidy; and nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital for their devoted care of our loved one.
