

Maria Vivian Flores Espinosa, 69, a resident of Virginia Beach, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. She was born in Manila, Philippines on June 9, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Ester and Anastasio Flores. She retired with over 30 years of service as a Claim Adjuster from Travelers Insurance of Diamond Bar, California. She attended and graduated High School from St. Theresa Catholic Holy Family School in Baguio City. She was a college graduate from University of the East. Vivian truly enjoyed spending time with her families and friends. She loved traveling to the Philippines with her sisters. She was always open to experiencing new things in life. She took ballroom dancing with great energy. She was a great cook and enjoyed feeding her families and friends. Shopping and traveling were also some of her favorite past time activities.
She is survived by her two daughters, Marie Claire Espinosa and Marigold Espinosa-Alvarenga and her husband Carlos; three sons, Giovanni Espinosa, Mitchell Espinosa and his wife Geselle, Johannes Espinosa and his wife Catherine; and their father, Manuelo Espinosa; three sisters, Olivia Legarda, Victoria Querimit, and Elvira Flores; two brothers, Antonio and Alfred Flores; grandchildren, Johnathan, Ashley, Nikko, Matthew, Mikaella, Rosmund, Nathan Jon, and Duke; great grandchildren, Joshua; a brother-in-law, Rogelio Legarda; sister-in-laws, Christina Flores and Lydia Flores.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish Catholic Church, 1396 Lynnhaven Parkway, Virginia Beach, VA 23453. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.woodlawngroup.com
