Michael James Ferretti

May 19, 1972 - March 2, 2022

Michael James Ferretti, 49, was granted his angel wings on March 2, 2022. His final days were surrounded by his family.

Michael was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and an understanding of what was important- the simplicity of living a life with those you love.

He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his extraordinary dance skills, his passion for Halloween, cookouts and crab boils, and sense of humor. He truly brought the life to the party.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother Alice Perez. He is survived by his daughter Brooke Ferretti (Nicc), son Dalton Ferretti, grandson Ian Martin, brothers John Riley (Kelly), Charles Riley, David Riley (Bill) and sister Michelle Lauter (Scott) and their son Nicholas, fiancé Monica Munoz, close family members Galit Beck, Smadar Marko, and Esther McCarthy and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and wonderful neighborhood family of friends.

Graveside services were held Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, Virginia 23502.
